You can come to Maarten Makelaardij & Hypotheken for taking out or refinancing your mortgage for a house anywhere in the Netherlands. But you can also combine our different services. If you buy a house with us, it is a logical step to also take out a mortgage with us. Because we offer various services, the lines are short and efficient. We are there for you at every step of the buying and selling process. Of course, we always remain independent.
The stages towards your mortgage
Orientation| During a (digital) meeting, we discuss your financial wishes. We will then send you an indicative calculation by email.
Inventory| Are you ready to start working with us? If so, provide us with the necessary information and we will arrange the valuation and, if desired, the technical inspection for you and schedule a follow-up appointment so that we can look at the various options together.
Advice & enquiry | During the follow-up appointment, we will go deeper into your exact wishes and needs. Then, we will write the advisory report and apply for the mortgage on your behalf. We will also prepare and submit the life insurance, occupational disability insurance and/or unemployment insurance applications.
Mediation & Completion | You receive the interest offer. This is the first offer from the mortgage provider. As soon as we have received the signed form back from you, we will send your documents to the mortgage lender. The lender can then start with the assessment. If the lender approves the application, you will receive a binding offer. Congratulations, the mortgage process is complete! Now we have to wait for the meeting with the notary. You will receive an offer for the home insurance from us. It is important that you arrange the insurance before you go to the notary.
Aftercare | After the execution of the deed of transfer at the notaryâs office, your mortgage will be administered by us and the mortgage lender. Should your situation change, you can always contact us.

You can follow the status of your mortgage application here, as well as digitally approve the order for service, the bank guarantee and the advisory report.
